Social exclusion on the edge:Creating and managing
Date du début: 1 août 2012,

Following the TC on Human Rights Education in late spring 2010 and the Youth Exchange “Small steps, big impact! Youth multipliers for human rights education in action” in summer 2011 the TC “Social exclusion on the edge: Creating and managing local youth work activities for human rights education” is aimed fostering social cohesion in Europe through addressing the issue of social exclusion and encouraging young people's awareness and commitment to tackling these issues for a more inclusive society through creating and managing local youth work activities in human rights education by young people and their peers. In this context special emphasis is given to the inclusion of young migrants, disabled young people and other vulnerable groups within the local communities of the partners and participants. The TC is designed to give participants the opportunity to experience and reflect activities and concepts to human rights education based on non-formal education with special emphasis on the theme “social exclusion”. The working methods of the TC will facilitate the exchange of non-formal approaches and will provide training for the development of new competences with the aim to educate future youth multipliers in human rights education. A composition of modules using methods from non-formal education will provide the participants step by step with theory, tools and skills for the realization of own future programs. The expected outcomes of the TC are confident and competent youth leaders, facilitators, trainers and multipliers with the skills to design and implement future programs with the support of their organisations and local communities. The project will take place in Kljuc, Bosnia-Herzegovina, 5.-14.10.2012 with the support of project promoters from programme countries and neighbouring partner countries from South Eastern Europe.
