Social Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion

The training course 'Social Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion' will take place in Plymouth, UK in September 2016. 30 participants from 7 organisations will gather together to enhance their knowledge of entrepreneurship, and share best practice.The participating countries: UK, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Slovakia and Italy.The target group is youth workers, NGOs’ workers and managers, trainers working with young people and youth leaders. the training aims to clarify and promote the concept of social entrepreneurship among NGOs that work or plan to work with young people with fewer opportunities (especially with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers) for their own sustainability and for their work on promoting the issue among these young people for their personal and professional development and involvement. The objectives of the training course are: 1) To get the participants familiar with the concept of social entrepreneurship. 2) To provide the participants with the opportunity to exchange experience and expertise in the fields of social entrepreneurship and in work with young people of fewer opportunities.3) To develop the essential entrepreneurial skills and competencies at the participants. 4) To provide participants with the tools and methods on creation, opening and running a social enterprise. 5) To encourage NGOs to open social enterprises. 6) To equip the participants with the tools and methods for activities on social entrepreneurship for young people with fewer opportunities. 7) To explore practical ways of using social entrepreneurship in order to reach, involve and encourage young migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and promoting fundamental values of our society among them. 8) To promote diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue and tolerance among the participants. The project is in line with Erasmus+ objectives. 1. Particularly, the project will support the professional development of NGOs’ workers and volunteers and youth workers and with a view to innovating and improving the quality of their work across Europe.The programme is designed in accordance with the objectives and the identified needs of participants. During the life of the project , the programme will be continuously (or further) adapted according to participants’ needs, expectations and the evaluation of activity. the programme is based on principles of non-formal and informal education, and use participatory techniques/tools that lead to more effective programmes.
