Social Enterprise European Network for Training
IRENE.T Network proposal intends to foster and stimulate the sectorialcooperation by means of suitable supports and tools enabling thecooperative work, the comparison and the exchange of best practiceamong all training operators and actors of the Third System world. Theproposal aims to develop the SocIal EnteRprises European NEtwork forTraining – IRENE.T Network, able to gather the needs and challengescoming from the bottom, that is directly from the organizations involvedin the Third System, regardless their dimension, status or field of action.Target groups:– Any organization belonging to the Third System or Social Economy(regardless the juridical form, dimension, area of action, geographicallocation or any other parameter characterizing the organization).– VET organizations and professionals, with a particular attention tothose already involved in the training issues of the Third System.– Local, regional and national public institutions.– People who would like to be part of the Third System regardless therole and the employment status (voluntary, employee, operators,supporters, and so on).Original aspects:– Focus upon the VET and all other issues concerning the professionaland personal growth of people involved in the Third System;– Support for transnational exchanges of best practice and innovativetraining approaches, providing tools and services and acting as anetwork of stakeholders for European project’s outcomes testing andexperimentations.– Bottom-up approach, promoting the network’s membership andparticipation to the cooperative work among organizations andprofessionals from the Third System and more in general to who isinterested in the evolution of the VET in this sector.– A work programme including research and study aimed to providemethods and tools for organization of the Third System, facilitating theinternal needs analysis and the exchange of practices.Main strands:– Best Practice: research on existing best practices (BP) and theircontexts; research about methods and techniques to help theidentification, definition and classification of BP; development of tools forBP identification, description and classification.– Needs Analysis: needs analysis in the VET for TS; mapping of TS’areas of action and professionalism and training paths; development ofmethods and techniques for the need analysis internal to eachorganization.– Dialogue and Cooperation: research about communication methods,tools and habits (formal and informal); development of tools andmethods supporting the communication, dialog and cooperation;organization and development of IRENE.T network - structure ofservices and promotion (membership plan).Main outcomes:– Best Practice: catalogue of EU BP with standard description;guidelines about how to describe and promote owns BP; “Identify card”of BP; guidelines about how to evaluate the proximity of own context toothers.– Needs Analysis: “Chart of competencies”; guidelines about how toanalyze its own organization’s needs; map of TS’ areas, relatedprofessionalism and training paths.– Dialogue and Cooperation: ITC platform supporting communicationand cooperation among TS’; guidelines about how to communicate andcooperate at EU level, fostering also the intercultural dialogue that istypically embedded into the mission of the Third System; “IRENE.TChart of services”; membership program.Thematic Domain / Topic: Third System or Social Economy: sharedgrowth and valorisation of the dialogue and cooperation inside the TS,also finalized to the exchange of formal, non-formal and informal trainingexperiences, pillars of the training in the TS
