Date du début: 1 août 2016, Date de fin: 30 juin 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project ‘Tasty, healthy , sporty ‘ will be implemented from the beginning of August 2016. to June 2017. It is aimed at young people from Lithuania, Latvia, Italy and Poland. Our goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle, change negative eating habits, increase the physical activity, overcome the fear of speaking English , use modern ICT and improve self-esteem. There will be 44 project participants , 11 from each partner country (10 young people at the age of 13-16 and 1 leader) .As we observed, both we and a lot of our peers do not lead an active lifestyle. We also spend too much free time in front of the computer. We would like to see how young people in other European countries cope with these problems. We want to share our experiences in this field, present our culinary interests, and develop our computer and language skills .Each team will participate in e-workshops, during which they will prepare the recipes for regional dishes, calculate the caloric values of used ingredients and send the recipes to other participants. Then the groups will have to cook the dishes basing on the recipes sent by other teams, offer the foreign dishes to local people and conduct a survey to explore their customers’ opinions on new flavors. Additionally, the teams will write a culinary blog in their native language and English, where they will describe all the actions connected with e-workshops and cooking. They will also prepare computer presentations about the culture and traditions of their regions, as well as the scenarios for sports and recreational activities. During the youth exchange we will organize integration meetings and sports tournaments, regional food degustation, a workshop on production of the traditional food and a meeting with a nutrition expert. The main point of all these actions will be the ,, Master Chef Junior " contest during which the teams will cook the dishes basing on the previously learnt recipes. The teams will fight for the Erasmus+ Master of Culinary Cup .During implementation of the project we will use lectures, questionnaires and surveys, practical activities, competitions, discussions, workshops, games, physical exercises and sports facilities. We expect that thanks to participating in our project, young people will improve their knowledge on healthy lifestyle, change their bad eating habits, improve their organizational skills and ability to work in a team. They will also be able to improve their spoken English. This will strengthen their self-esteem, encourage them to apply the principles of healthy lifestyle in everyday life. They will be able to plan healthy menu and plan and manage their budget. For that reason, they will improve their math skills. All young participants will learn about culture and traditions of the partner organizations They will increase their ability to use new technologies in order to exchange experiences and develop informal contacts during the project and after it has finished. During the preparatory activities and the exchange we will work in groups. As a result, we will develop organizational skills and learn to cooperate with our partners. The groups will be international. Thanks to that we will learn what tolerance, acceptance, openness and gender equality are. If we use our creativity and curiosity about the world, the local communities will also benefit from the project. The participation of young people in the international project will make the residents of the regions familiar not only with the idea of cooperation during the international exchange, but also with the culture and traditions of the participating countries. The awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle will increase and the cooperation between our organizations and the local associations and companies will develop but, above all, the project will promote the cities, regions and countries among the participants.
