This EVS project is mainly aimed at providing non-formal education and inter cultural learning opportunities to young people. The University environment can provide a space for both proffessional and personal developlment of young people interested in learning, new experiences with teaching, new contacts with other young people of different culture, nationalities,...It can provide also a great benefit from tolerance and mutual, necessary dialogues. And, there are the main objectives of the project - to offer the environment for young peole from all around the world to express themselves, to improve their skills, to learn more about others and, finally, to create an opportunity for learning about each others´ similarities and differencies in the university environment. The EVS project will be in the Yerevan University,. Target group of this project are young people aged 18 to 30 - from the Yerevan and the nearby villages, but by hosting other volunteers it becomes a place where a lot of cultures, nationalities and races will meet. They should be active, motivated, prepared to learn more and also willing to help and to offer theirtalents to be benefits for others. This project includes one EVS volunteer from Slovakia to be hosted in the project in Armenia. Project duration is 12 months, while the EVS service will last 16 months. We hope that after the end of the EVS project the volunteer ´ll come more motivated, active and experienced for the work with the community arond him/her. It could be a great promotion of EVS project in general - to spread information about the project itself, but also to mediate other cultures, nationalities, experiences for the people here.
