According to the School Educational Programme of our school, our aims in the field of education and training is to prepare students, so they can swiftly react to the changes in the requirements of their field. The dual education is emphasized more and more, which requires the connection between the theoretical and practical training.By studying the work in international firms, the students of the field of Business Academy and Hotel Academy (management, task completion on the departments of the hotels, organization of work, account management, the amount of the required theoretical and practical knowledge of the employees, their attitude, interpersonal relations, the system of social benefits) the students:- learn how to react to the new working environment (different conditions from the school environment, or from the Slovak firms)- they take over the responsibility for their behavior during the training - from the field Business Academy the students acquire valuable experience for their future employment based on their student profiles as economists, bookkeepers, controllers, statistics, mid-level managers or as entrepreneurs- from the field of Hotel academy the students acquire valuable experience for their future employment in the positions such as receptionist, housekeeper, maid, chef, waiter- they improve their language skills- they improve their self-confidence and independence- they extend their theoretical knowledge and practical skillsThe expected results of the practical training for the field of Business academy:- to extend the knowledge and skills from the field of processing and using information- to fix knowledge from the English language, mainly in the field of business correspondence- to acquire practical skill in administration and correspondence, finance, and marketing- to motivate students and their economical thinking- to compare the management, planning, organization, working conditions, professional requirements, the awarding of employees in our and in the international firms- to propose innovative elements for our Slovak partner firms based on the acquired experience from abroad- to raise the extent of dual education in our vocational courses- to learn about the local culture and mentality, about the firm culture- to meet new people and establish new working relationshipsThe expected results of the practical training for the field of Hotel academy:- to learn about the responsibilities of the employees on different positions in the hotels- to learn about the local specialties, about the table manners and waiting on guests- to improve communication with the client- to acquire skills in working at the reception desk- to learn about the tasks of the housekeeper- to learn about the specialties of the Hungarian kitchen- to learn about the table manners and about the principles of waiting on tables in concrete hotels - to learn about the local culture and mentality, about the firm culture- to meet new people and establish new working relationshipsWe would like to send 3rd- and 4th-year students to the vocational trainings from the study fields Business academy and Hotel academy. We chose two target countries: Hungary and Italy. We would like to send 22 students to Italy, Milan (study field Business academy) and 22 students to Hungary, Budapest (study field Hotel academy). The time of the mobilities had been timed on October/November 2016. Thanks to the experience from two EU countries, we will be able to compare the working process, forms of management, and business politics of three countries. Students will have the chance to identify the week and strong patterns, and they get a chance to construct an ideal type of a business based on this experience.
