TERMINÉ
Our Technical School and Natural Sciences Secondary School Ruđer Bošković is planning in the period between 1. 10. 2014 and 1. 10. 2015 a project. Within the project framework the school is sending six participants to the expertise training.
Since the school needs are oriented towards the work reorganisation and school politics changing for the purpose of long-term approach to the European framework on the one hand, and towards improving the qualities of the teaching methods and teaching approaches with the aim of higher student motivation and achievement improvement on the other hand, we have decided to train the following individuals:
the head-master and the pedagogue: expertise training »Benchmarking« (Finnland), the ICT teacher: »Curation, Social Media Master Class for Education in semantic web 3.0« (Spain), the graphic design, multimedia and arts education teacher: »Tap-Swipe-Pinch“ (Spain), the Croatian language teacher: »Action Methods Improving Motivation and Quality in the Learning Situation« (Portugal) and the English language teacher: »Course on Group Dynamics and Social Skills in the Classroom« (Italy).
The activities that will improve the competences of the participants and the results which will be achieved:
-the head-master:
-the development of the innovative school politics plan whereas the Finnish schools will serve as an example (he/she will implement an innovative plan which will have sustainable development and he/she will also coordinate its implementation, internationalize and modernize the school)
-the planning of work reorganisation (including the plan creation regarding the constructive and innovative laboratory exploitability)
-the pedagogue:
-the creation of innovative curriculum dimensions according to the Europian countries (in cooperation with the ICT teacher he/she will connect the social media, curation and the latest Web2.0 technologies)
-the making of KA2 projects and stimulation of distant education development including the ICT tools (application of the latest teaching approaches and methods in cooperation with the English and Croatian language teachers)
-the acquisition of the latest approaches in the work with the students who have learning difficulties (in cooperation with the subject teachers including a cooperative relationship with the parents and social partners, except helping the individuals to easier acquire knowledge, he/she will have influence on the positive learning climate in the class)
-the ICT teacher:
-the designing, planning and writing curriculum patterns connecting it with the latest social media, curation and the latest Web2.0 technologies (except using it in the class, he/she will plan the installation of the curation tools in specialized classes, he/she will also help the head-master and the pedagogue in the development of the innovative school politics plan and curriculum, he/she will also educate the teachers)
-the graphic design, multimedia and arts education teacher:
-the integration of social media, curation and the latest Web2.0 technologies in the school curriculum (he/she will help to develop the school curriculum with new ideas)
-the acquisition of the best practical approaches for tablet education (he/she will modernize the teaching, connect it with the crosscurricular teaching and produce a film by means of which he/she will pass the experience to other teachers and students in the school and outside of it)
-the Croatian language teacher:
-the acquisition of modern teaching methods (he/she will use it in the work with the students of both vocational and natural sciences secondary school education programs as well as in the future KA2 projects)
-the acquisition of methodical and didactical knowledge as well as the knowledge from the psychology field, organizational knowledge, skills for team work as well as knowledge about the planning of class teaching which will improve the motivation and quality in different learning situations (he/she will carry out experience crosscurricular throughout different classes in cooperation with the arts education teacher and the English language teacher) and in long-term cooperation with other teachers
-the English language teacher:
-the knowledge acquisition of modern teaching methods on group dynamics and social skills (he/she will connect the language-artistic field with the multimedia and will demonstrate it on »The Open Doors« school project and by using the gained experience he/she will influence the creativity of future KA2 projects)
-the acquisition of best practical approaches from the good practice examples (he/she will implement it in the class)
All participants will also improve their language and digital competences as well as develop their long-term intercultural consciousness and cooperation competences and this will also have impact on the school connection with other schools and institutions from the local community as well as on the realization and connection with the European count
