For trainers, the project takes place in the perspective of the updating competencies project launched by the Minister of Education to ensure quality of education and continuing training of trainers with companies involvement. It addresses the need for teachers to confront the demands and realities of a sector in constant technological change and update their knowledges. The trainers will do 4 days of job shadowing within 2 garages in Portugal and Spain to gain knowledge about the diagnosis of failures in hybrid vehicles,in order to update their methodologies and transfert new knowledges to their colleagues and to the students. The coordination of the consortium is made by the CCGPE DGEO. His team has acquired since 2007 experience and expertise in the management of mobility projects and it will share them with the consortium in order to work together and in the same approach to implement actions for the students in accordance with the Erasmus + quality charter. Transnational partners - intermediary organizations and host companies - were selected by their experience in hosting foreign students and by the adequacy of the activities proposed with the professional and social skills required by the trainees. Learning outcomes will be recognized and validated by the school jury and will be incorporated in the final evaluation of the training program for obtaining the 6th grade qualification certificate. With this consortium, schools want to give an international dimension to the mechanical option in order to establish a dynamic through the contribution of new knowledge from the technological advances in the automotive sector and by the positioning of the training by Units in the the perspective of the ECVET system and the European Certification.
