SKILLS FOR FUTURE - Tackling urgent public health challenges with sharing knowledge, multiplication good experiences and working on white fields for better health (HUSKROUA/1101/093)

The project aims to decrease harmful effects on health of social-economic disadvantages, through dealing with specific local and common urgent public health challenges by multiplying knowledge and skills; and to improve economic competitiveness by changing the negative health tendencies, empowerment of the educational, health, social and civil sectors. It aims at Defining the intervention needs in order to handle the most urgent challenges in public health efficiently on a community level; working out a special methodological programme package, which includes practice-oriented trainings, and health promotion means (the training of key role players, aimed development of health literacy by on-line dictionary, manual, invitation cards, board games, workbooks etc).; involving civil organizations, institutions of health, social care, higher education and other stakeholders in order to decrease harmful dangers in public health and sharing knowledge and experiences; decreasing the negative effects on health caused by social drawbacks by cooperation in white areas between different professional fields. Expected Results: On the basis of needs assessment, the developing process and intervention needs are determined in a pre-study. On the basis of this a complex training and methodological package will be worked out. The package contains an intelligent multilingual explanatory on-line dictionary, a manual, client information cards, leaflets, board games, workbooks. The experience markets guarantee the professional development, creation collection of good practices and knowledge. The cooperation of the developing team and the joint developing work of various stakeholders result in a successful cooperation in white areas. The expected result would be the decrease of the harmful effects on health caused by the negative social-economic factors, a higher level of health literacy and increased participation in preventive programmes, as well as the good practice for the cooperation among sectors.
