Scout Valley campsite is based on voluntary activity, and international volunteers will join the organization's harmonious life by adding inter cultural aspect. Volunteers will live in Ukmerge, where is an acute shortage of different cultures, so the participants will make a change for the entire urban population.4 countries participate in this EVS 4eSes project - Lithuania, Italy, Romania and Ukraine. The main objective: to promote tolerance, cultural diversity through non-formal outdoor education, healthy lifestyle and volunteering as a means for active citizenship.To the Scout valley campsite in Lithuania, Ukmergė region, for a long-term project will come three volunteers (Benedetta from Italy, a male volunteer from Romania and Oksana from Ukraine).Italian and Romanian will arrive during the first days of April. They will volunteer for 7 months at scout campsite. Their main tasks will be: to welcome groups of children and youth; to provide outdoor education activities; to ensure security. In addition to this they will help to develop and maintain the campsite, prepare it for new activities. Taking into account Benedetta's inclinations, she will be given time for a research of new hiking routes and describe them with interesting tasks. Volunteer from Romana will help more with the water program, sailing, rafting and canoeing.Oksana's from Ukraine project will begin in mid-January and will last for 11 months. Its main activity will take place in the outdoor kindergarten. She will help educators look after the children, guiding the creative classes, go on hikes and just be with the kids in the fresh air. In addition to these activities an important part of her project - EVS promotion to young people and potential host organizations in the region.During the service time volunteers will learn: to work with groups of children and youth; use outdoor education principles; gain scouting skills; gain organizational experience; learn to present their culture and get to know Lithuanian. They will promote a healthy and active lifestyle.It is expected that after the project for volunteers it will be easier to find a job. Lithuanian participants will be more open and tolerant towards other cultures. After this project young people from Ukmergė will start to participate more actively in Erasmus + projects and more organizations will became Hosting EVS.
