The project "Sinu mõju-2" is the second edition of the project "Sinu mõju!" which took place in Haapsalu, Rakvere, Kurresaare and Narva in 2015. This project was very successful and useful for youngsters and society. So we decided to make second edition, we give opportunity to other 30 youngsters to be involved in this project; also we expanded quantity of Schools. In project content we decided to add one more topic about tolerance, because is very actual topic of nowadays. The main goal of the project is to learn how young people can influence and cooperate with decision-makers in order to develop their communities. The following objectives will help to reach this goal: to find out about political structures: political regimes, political parties and NGOs. Usually school students learn this information at school but not so deep and just in theory. And with the help of non-formal methods we want to learn more about political theory. Also we want to make meetings with members of political party and NGO to open more this question;- to promote democratic and European values. Youngsters can learn what democracy is and how important it is, but if they have never expressed their oppinions and never influenced decision making process, democracy as value cannot be formed. - to find out how work local governments, parliament and European parliament and commission through meetings with MPs and representatives of these institutions and through methods of non-formal learning;- To find out about instrument of influence, including advocacy, and get the first experience in using this methods for solving the problems in the city or country;- Structured dialogue: to organize meetings between youngsters and policy makers for creating discussion and debates. We want to make these meetings in order to help young people to be able to make their voice heard (through the formation of position proposals and recommendation); -- To increase awareness of importance of human rights and tolerance for prevention of radicalism between young people. Youngsters from Ida-Virumaa County will participate in the project. Ida-Virumaa is a special district in Estonia. Young people are very active and they share the democratic values but they have not so much contacts with decision makers and sometimes they do not believe that they can change or influence something in their city. Participants of the project will be students of 9-11 grade, they are 15-17 years old students. At this age youngsters are interested in society and they can form values and position for future.
