The teachers and the students in Yesilevler Technical and Industrial Vocational High School will participate in the Project. The teachers group in which 6 participants are available will be consisted of Metal Technology department and attend 14 day activities in Austria between the dates of April 6-19 2014. The group of 24 people will be formed of the students of Metal Technology department and attend 14 day activities in Germany between the dates of April 6-19 2014. The training of skilled manpower that can realize the social and sustainable development is highly the task of the education system. While doing its task, the education system regards the students as productive citizens and prepares them to the social life, the world of the secondary or advanced training. Especially at the secondary education level, combining the functions consistently a coherent program in terms of personal and a coherent program in terms of personal and professional development is tried to apply. As well as universal cases like unemployment, technology revolution, globalization, information explosion and productivity; national and local cases like the rapid industrialization efforts, the shortage of intermediate level manpower, the excess of unskilled unemployed, the decrease in the rate of schooling affect the vocational and technical education. Welding Technology is used by a great many of firms working in a wide variety of areas such as design, manufacturing, maintenance, mounting. On the other side, there are a lot of establishments that supply materials to this sector or inspect the production processes. In these establish ments, the numbers of small and medium-sized scaled firms selling welded products abroad or producing for the firms abroad are increasing day by day to consider this scale, it is understood how the welding technology is important and the rising of its importance in Turkish Industry. The needs of the schools giving education vocational training are met by the stat for this reason, it causes to have imbalanced budgets and the poor education -Especially manpower training in welding field is an expensive process requiring effort time and power. Welders have health problems because of the working atmosphere. This project will help decrease labour accidents, health problems and imbalanced budgets by recognizing the opportunity of practicing simulation in the training of welder. -With this project the participants will practice welding on virtual platform The trainers will experience the techniques of applications -The vocational training students participating in this Project need to learn the knowledge of welding technology, improve handskills by practicing, the technological developments the security precautions during welding applications The participants also need to learn and practice about labour security and labourers health in the dimension of EU criteria. Also they need to see the IT of welding technology with entagration and improve foreign language and vocational foreign language experience The main activities will be done for this Project below: 1-Determining the participants: it comprises informing and selecting participants 2-Preparetion: İt comprises the vocational pedagogical, cultural, linguistical education 3- Activities: The activities that the participants will do abroad according to the working schedule 4-Dissemination: sharing the printouts with the target groups 5-Reporting : The results of the Project This Project will be conducted with the principals transparency, pertinence, justice, accountability spirit of sharing. The vocational training students will improve their skills with welding application, learn technological improvements by improving their knowledge will adopt labour security applications, experience cultural interation and linguistical experiences The trainers will experience the welding application with simulation ,The techniques used the time of application, the contents and the rules of the labor security in its own place at the same time they will improve their culture and language practices Our Project will change the vocational view of the trainers and student who are taking part in this Project in the long term. The vocational trainers will apply new Technologies in their jobs by experciencing. The students will be more courageous in participating in business life and live in self-confidence and it will contribute to the formation of EU citizenship. İt will also increase labor security and laborer health applications.
