The regional water authorities have conducted a thorough investigation on bothHungarian and Slovakian side to make the delta of the river Bodrog between theborder and Tokaj navigable. Within the scope of the project an ecological survey, apreliminary environmental impact assessment and a full measurement of the sectionsconcerned have been carried out, a digital relief map of the sections involved has beenprepared, a survey has been conducted about developmental needs of the towns andvillages along the riverbank connected directly to the river and its flood-plain andlogistics centres have been designated.
