Objective of the projectThe objective of the project was to transfer knowledge on sheep husbandry from Finland to Kalevala. Main activities• Arranging theoretical courses on sheep husbandry.• Supply of sheep material.• Creation of a sheep breeding center. Achievements: Altogether 45 ewes and two male sheep were bought and transported to Kalevala. The district got new knowledge on sheep husbandry and a small breeding centre for sheep.
