Sharing Methods, Growing Ideas
Date du début: 15 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 14 juil. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Kalimera Società Cooperativa Sociale is an organization active since 2004 in the creation of services in favor of people in situation of social, familiar and physical disadvantages. The Cooperative has as main feature the adoption of an innovative method, based on a sociological approach and derived from the "clinical sociology". It is called "sociotherapy". This approach has proved successful over the years of work, during which many operators have been trained and currently work providing social and innovative educational programs, aimed at different age groups and target groups. While aware of the innovativeness of the method in the panorama of social services, the operators, especially younger ones, need to have opportunities of sharing and comparing with a European dimension, by which to promote, enhance and compare their skills. The requirement that prompted Kalimera to propose a project under the Erasmus + Youth sector program is to have a structured comparison with other organizations, youth workers and social workers, in order to integrate them with existing methods for the management of social and educational activities, particularly with regard to hardship situations. Also the partners involved feel the same need in respect of its staff, or to supplement the daily work with the addition of non-formal and innovative methods to improve the performance aimed at their target groups. The project thus aims to increase the skills of young social workers through the mutual exchange of good practices and the adoption of non-formal education methods, reconciling local needs with the training needs of the operators. Moreover, the idea that "sociotherapy" approach can cross national borders and be integrated with new methodologies, is another challenge. In a European dimension that pervades every aspect of daily life, the Cooperative considers it necessary to share their methods of work and learning, by comparison, new ideas and techniques. The project consists of three major phases:1. Preparation and preliminary needs analysis and training needs (local activities, § F.3).2. Mobility of workers in Italy (transnational activities co-financed by Erasmus+). It will be held from November 26 to December 4, 2016 in Angri (Italy), involving 34 participants from Italy, Lithuania, France, Romania, Serbia and Poland.3. Follow-up and dissemination activities ex post for the dissemination of results (activities both local and international).Project objectives:- Integrating the different approaches of the partner organizations to produce innovative methods available to young participants operators;- To promote the development of some of the eight key competencies in the participants, to be transferred in the daily work with young people, children and other target groups;- To promote an innovative model for the socio-educational youth work, aimed at operators involved and subsequently to those not directly involved (indirect beneficiaries). The main expected result is a rise of skills and awareness among participants about the youth workers of the socio-educational work tools with young people, and a subsequent realization of a "Guide for social workers", within which to enter the result of the work of comparison and integration of methods and methodologies to be proposed as best practices and make available both inside and outside the participating organizations, leveraging different expertise and know-how of the partners.
