Date du début: 1 déc. 2014, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our school, 2° circolo didattico, is located in Perugia, state capital of Umbria region, and is made up of 3 pre-primary schools ( two of them with special Montessori teaching method) and 4 primary schools. Nearly 860 pupils are attending our schools, in which works 75 teachers, 5 staff members in the aministrative office and 13 custodians. Our mission is to provide a high quality education in a multicultural vision able to embrace change and innovation. Our key strategies are based on the use of digital teaching tools, teachers lifelong learning, the improvement of the curricuum with various activities as theatre, arts and crafts, science laboratory experiments and sport. To develop a higher European education system, some of the teachers are getting started with trainings in European integration. Moreover, participating in seminars on the new Erasmus plus programme, they have had the possibility to meet other collegues of the region for sharing ideas, giving feedback, cooperating and finding out what other people are doing, while our pupils have taken part to projects about European Citizenship, organized by local institutions. Some of our teachers are already registered in the E-Twinning platform, that enabled pupils of some classroom to take part to a virtual e-twinning project with a German school. From several years we support children second language learning with specific co-curricular activities and, from a couple of years, we participate in project " Orizzonti 2.0". We also take part, cooperating with a network of local school institutions, private and public partners and local governments, to Intercultural projects and the realization of a vertical curriculum according to the National Indications. From the analysis of our training needs emerges the importance of training staff in a European background , in the Internazionalization of school, in ICT and in fluency, methodology and teaching of English as a second language. As we believe in the importance of starting a second language from pre-primary school we are organizing a training at University Mary Immaculate in Limererick. The goals that our European plan wants to chase are: acquire and develop management competences in order to plan, organize, manage and realize projects in an International context; create strategic relationships with foreign partners, in order to ensure temporal continuity to cooperation projects; increase the knowledge of lexical structure in a second language in order to communicate more effectively with collegues and partners from abroad; increase language and practical methodology, developing creativity in the classrom; develop competences on informatic technology for innovative and creative teaching methodologies; enrich teachers curricula with training experiences abroad; promote the Citizens' sense of belonging to the European Union to breed active and aware citizens. The beneficiaries of the mobilities are: the Headmaster, the project coordinator for Europe, a teacher tutor for English language, a teacher coordinator, specialised in English language, teachers teaching English at pre-primary and primary school. The subjects of the selected courses are: HOW TO MAKE YOUR SCHOOL MORE INTERNATIONAL, EUROPEAN PROJECT UNDER ERASMUS +, BENCHMARKING COURSE, ICT Skills and some courses developping fluency and methodology. The logistic plan of mobilities will be managed by the project coordinator for Europe, together with the headmaster and with the administrative staff for the financial budget plan. The timetable of the mobilities will take into account both the internal organization of the school and the availability of participants, in order to preserve classes and scheduled activities. The organisational aspects related to travel and accomodation will be planned by participants with the training institutions of the selected courses. We strongly believe that training activities abroad will have a positive impact on our teachers and, in turn, on our school, increasing their expertise and broadening the school offer. The dissemination of the newly acquired knowledge and experience will consist of two phases: the first one in-school and a second one mainly for external users. Our aim is to raise awareness of the largest number of people about Erasmus+ programme, the European vison of the school, sharing of the acquired know how of the participants and developing new partnerships. The evaluation of the achievement of such targets relies on selected quantitative and qualitative indicators and the creation of a personal portfolio of the participants reporting activities and significant events during the mobiilty experience to evaluate the training course.
