The project named "shared enterprises for cultural employment in Europe (SEIE Culture)" had the following objective: to transfer to other European countries the shared enterprise tools as adapted in France to Arts & Culture sector; The Specific Objectives were: to promote shared enterprises to local authorities and cultural actors in partner; and, to adapt shared cultural enterprise tools to the legal and business environment in the partner countries.The project developped several activities, mainly studies carried out by each partner, adaptation of the tools to be transferred, pilot Committees (4 in total), workshop on cultural employment, support missions, a seminar organised in Strasbourg, the restitution and validation of the project during the final pilot committee meeting in Marseille (France). The managers and staff of the partner organizations were trained in the use of shared cultural enterprise (SCE) tools (approx. 40 trainees). The project contributed to adopt and adapt information technology tools for the SCE’s daily operations and training programmes. It alsocontributed to the promotion of SCEs on the European arena and creation of 5 SCEs in France and 2 in Europe.
