Share&Care with EVS
Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This is the first project in which Mladiinfo Slovakia will use its experience and coordinate two hosting organisations in Bratislava and host 3 long term EVS volunteers. The cooperation was initiated by the hosting organisations Mladez ulice and Youth council of Slovakia (Rada mládeže Slovenska). The two hosting organisations involved in this project are working in different field of youth work and have a different target group. Youth council of Slovakia will involve 2 EVS volunteers in the events connected to the upcoming Slovak presidency in EU and big European Youth Conference. This is considered to be a great experience for EVS volunteers to be part of the team and the preparation&implementation of the conference and other events related to the Presidency. Mladáž ulice operates in a form of field social work based on low-threshold principles. The mission of the organization is to improve life of children, youth, families and communities from ordinary or socially disadvantaged environment and to help them to obtain the basic habits/knowledge for future. The project involves work with socially excluded children and youth, mostly Roma, and reacts on the needs of clients offering free-time services, social services and work in the community. Through taking part in activities and working on the tasks related to the mission and agenda of BOTH hosting organisations, however different, the project will provide space and possibility to: raise volunteers' awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries and actively participate in society and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity. With this project Mladiinfo Slovakia expects to create a basis for future coordinating projects in Bratislava, with more hosting organizations getting interested and involved in hosting international volunteers within EVS in Bratislava and offering them high quality volunteering experience.
