The project, in partnership with D and I, will focus on providing access to vocational training to blind people in HU in all age categories, but in particular blind young people. Over a period of 30 months the existing education materials, including CD-Roms and books, are to be reworked to meet the needs of the blind , they are to be didactically modified and adapted to the needs of blind pupils and instructors.The focus will be on training blind people to work in the field of computer-supported telephone consultations (opinion surveys). Disabled friendly workplaces will be created in this field- depending on the degree of disability - also in the immediate vicinity of the beneficiaries' homes.During the project, material (mainly from D and I) is to be adapted to blind people, tested and evaluated, adapted to the existing electronic data structures and then disseminated to firms and training institutions. It should also be possible to train blind people to work in the abovementioned field via direct tuition and via distance learning. The material, after successful implementation, is to be made available at European level.
