The directorate of the youth of Dammarie-les-Lys works arround two lines : the social diversity and the openning to the world and the others. Exhanges of young people allow us to reach simultaneously this two goals. This is why we get involved in Erasmus+, hoping this process will help us to realize diverses projects we wish to plan in the next mounths. Over a first phase, we wish to organize, during a week, the reception in Dammarie-lès-Lys of 16 youngs persons who come from Arcos de Valdevez (Portugal). This 16 girls and boys of the youth association of Arcos Valdevez will come from all socio-professional environment. They will be escort by 4 adults. This week will be structured arround four times : 1/ Reflection on the thematic We planed an evening and 3 half-days to broach, all together, the subjects we want to bring up about diversity and multicultural. Will do this every time in a different way : movies, discussions, brainstorming, quiz, intervowen portraits... 2/ Discovery the french locals customs and the nearby environment The youngs Portugueses will have the opportunity to discover Dammarie-lès-Lys and his neighbourhood during four planned visits : one in Dammarie-lès-Lys, the other in Paris, the next one in Fontainebleau's forest and at last the local market. 3/ Exchanges times arround fun activity between youngs Our goal is to promote exchanges between youngs from both country, and to realise this we choose to increase the number of meeting and cooperatives situations. By the way of five activity, youngs will be able to acting together : traditionals french and portuguses games like « la pétanque » (french bowls), artistic activity with light painting, sport at the swimmingpool and … with the cooking of a binational meal followed by a party 4/Restitution time and feedback One morning is devoted to disscuss about the evolution of this project and the youthpass, and two evenings for the video editing of a short film we want to realize on this week. The goal we foward is to give to the young people the opportunity to discover other way of life that the one he use to know, to open his mind to others and by the way to learn more about himself, to help to overcome his prejudices and to offer him a largest field of evolution by this experience. We expect that this meetings with not alike peoples will give him memories, bring him knowledge, humanity values and true life experiences. We also want to take the avantage of this exchanges to talk about equality between girls and boys and identify the differences between countries to find propositions to improve things as possible. At last, in the long term, we wish to highlight the practices of the others languages and the youthpass as advantages to improve the accessibility to professionnal work.
