Seminar Economics of the European Union (EU) and EU-Ukraine relations 2015/16

The Seminar "European Union Economics and the future of EU-Ukraine relations 2015/16” will be held for students of 3 leading Universities in Odessa and civil servants of Odessa Regional State Administration.To promote exelence in the teaching methodology and to motivate learning and research in EU studies the Seminar was developed tailor-made for Ukraine students.Objectives :Teach to use One-Drive Platform,improve presentations skills,use efficiently multimedia in presentations,gain competenties on EU economics subjects ,EU -Ukraine relations and geopolitics of Ukraine .Improvement of discussions and civic skills are also objectives of the Seminar.3.For the Program of the Seminar relevant topics to increase employability of graduates were selected.Part 1 of the Seminar (Sessions 2 to 10) deals with the process of European integration and the creation of the European single market. EU common policies and European monetary policy are other major subjects of Part 1.Part 2 of the Seminar (Sessions 11 to 17) is dedicated to the EU-Ukraine relations. Specially the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement ,Eastern Partnership and Ukraine geopolitics will be dealt with.The vast Bibliography contains power-points presentations, videos with sound ,books all on line in the Platform(http://1drv.ms/1zzaPdT ) to help students in their presentations and will be updated every academic year because the EU and specially Ukraine are going trough big structural changes.4.Trough the One-Drive platform of the Seminar (http://1drv.ms/1zzaPdT) we contribute to dissemination of academic research in European Union studies(OER).5.The Seminar promotes EU studies at host Institution(ONEU) , at two other Universities and Regional Administration and will give greater visibility of EU studies at the national level by dissimination of the Seminar trough EU information Centre of ONEU.Moreover the Seminar will contribute to the basis for future poles of European studies.
