"Self-employment, the future in your hands" is a youth exchange that will take place from 10th to 19th July in Puente Genil (Córdoba) and which involved five organizations: Creative Youth Partnership NGO (Armenia), BAFRA FEN LISESI (Turkey), Zdruzenie za volonterizam Volonterski Centar Skopje- VCS Skopje (Macedonia), Youth for Exchange and Understanding Cyprus (Cyprus) and Mesa Local de la Juventud de Puente Genil (Spain).Participants will be aged between 18 and 30 years and include a total of 33 participants, of which 8 are group leaders and/or organizers.This project is a youth exchange within a KA1 of Erasmus Plus programme about youth unemployment and entrepreneurship as an of alternative job. The main objectives of the project are:- Bringing young people into the labor market through self-employment.- Remove barriers and prejudices among our young people to start a business.- To promote understanding and cooperation between countries in order to acquire goodpractices for self-employment.- Encourage creativity, determination and dynamism among our youth.Meanwhile, the main activities of the exchange are aimed at the following topics: workshops about unemployment and entrepreneurship, knowledge of cultures, team working activities, experiences about entrepreneurship, improve skill, creation and management of a facebook page, visiting Cordoba and evaluation and result disemination workshops.The methodology used to perform this type of activity is based, mainly, learning among peers, constructive debates, role playing, presentations, active participation, learning through experiences, cooperation and group dynamics, visits....In general, the results we expect the implementation of this project are related to the acquisition by the participants of skills and competences within the non-formal and informal learning with a European dimension, improving language and communication skills , improve the entrepreneurship. It will contribute to their personal development and active citizenship.Furthermore, the impact we would like to have this project, firstly, is directly linked to the participants, who will try to improve the entrepreneurship, more European awareness will be created by opening their minds in relation to other cultures and young people to continue with interest to participate in activities at European level.
