Seitenwechsel MUC-BCN
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Europe is growig together! Companies work in several countries and people no longer only work in their mothercountries. The freedom of free movement within Europe enables every citizen to settle in any European country. Thus the requirements of the public administration and the vocational schools are changing. This development demands an opening of mind of the administration and their employees for citizens, their European partners and for the vocational schools, their curricula and their teaching methods. Aim of the project „Seitenwechsel“ is o promote the understanding and the tolerance for different cultures, to reduce prejudices and to develop a European public spirit. The pupils shall therefore „try out“ a movement to Barcelona and compare it with a movement from Barcelona to Munich within the practical training with the Fundatio BCN Professional. The pupils shall work out special tasks about a residents’ registration office, job seeking, flat hunting, starting an apprenticeship, acting under special circumstances abroad and so dealing with differences to their home country. All applicants serve an apprenticeship as administrative assistants in their second year of traineeship. Four of them are chosen according to their language abilities and their last year’s level of proficiency. The results and the gained experience of the settlement of their project-tasks will broaden the empathy for citizens of other countries of the EU. They learn to recognize and to accept cultural and social differences and learn how to support their foreign fellow citizens. Their class mates participate in their experience and can apply it uin their future work. The trainees function as disseminators and their experience can be applied by their class mates at work and the vocational school can adopt their experience in action-orientated lessons. The BNC Professional can expand its offer for job-seeking Spanish people into training and working opportunities in Germany. This project promotes the intercultural competence at vocational schools in Munich.
