Seine Ljubljanica Ombre
Date du début: 2 août 2014, Date de fin: 2 janv. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Seine Ljubljanica Ombre" is a job shadowing project for 2 youth workers from France who are coming for 10 days (7 working days) at Institut Padma in Ljubljana (Slovenia). The project aims to exchange experience, acquire new skills, gain useful knowledge and also develop a partnership. Intitut Padma (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and La lune de Pantin (Pantin, France) have much in common. Both organizations are non profit, both have mainly young volunteers and both have vast experience with artistic (musical) education. Their aim is to professionalise their work and to increase their motivation for activities in youth working area, which would help them in training unemployed young people and involve them in the projects dealing with soft skills development. We would like to start an international partnership, learn from each other how each institution organizes and carries out their work with young people and also to exchange good practice experiences. Job shadowing activities will take place in Ljubljana at the office of Institut Padma, where Ms Ranu Rajput and Mr Fred Tessier will learn about our good practices with youth, and will shadow Slovenian youth workers in action and share French experience with Slovenian colleagues. During these 7 working days of job shadowing, participants will discuss the issues of youth volunteering, professionalisation and recognition of youth work, European certificates (Youthpass, Europass CV), social entrepreneurship, intercultural learning, intergenerational cooperation and healthy living, with intent to learn to promote and encourage compassion, solidarity, and of course active and healthy attitude towards modern challenges of youth. Participants will share their knowledge, expertise and insights to these topics and try to find solutions for youth engagement in modern everyday challenges. After the job shadowing activity, the French youth workers will present their experience to the members of their organisation and to the local youth workers on open public presentation held in Paris.
