SDP "Mirando a Europa"
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our School Development Project (SDP) has at this first stage (KA1), as its main target the teachers European training -both in the linguistic field and in the inclusion of new methods and techniques- It must be taken into account that another of our most outstanding targets is the warming up of the idea of Europe in our town, fact which is of great importance for us since the school and its surrounding area have strong links. We have the clear intention to involve most of the teachers in our project; we have proposed __ mobilities for a number of 24 teachers in our school altogether. We have future plans for new projects with other European schools in order to achieve higher levels of performance in the development of a second language for our school children, thanks to the interaction and feedback in the classroom environment after the training. And so the selected applicants fulfill a series of features: • Interest in the improvement of their linguistic competence and in gradually including it into their everyday teaching action. • Inclusion of the idea of Europe in their school work. • Development of new and more practical methodology. That is why the profile of the participants present an evident intention of educate themselves specifically on that second language, in order to develop further routines to be included in their class work. As far as for the activities to be carried out is concerned, we must point out that previous to the presentation of this form, several inter-curricular meetings have been held . Meetings to prepare and plan the SDP for our school , as well as to inform about the different options that Erasmus + offers. Throughout the program actions related to the training will be carried out together with cultural activities to promote the European aspect of the program. In the end we will evaluate and collect all the material created and used in the program. As it is shown the basis of the methodology in our SDP are action and cooperation. We want it to be an active and dynamic program which has scope for most of the members of our school community. All this will bring along a severe impact into our school, improving the education standards as well as a deep change of attitude towards our future participation in other European programs. Therefore, advantages in the long term will be really significant: • Improving the linguistic competence both for teachers and children. • Adopting new methodology in the classroom. • Further participation in more European projects. • And especially, the possibility of switching to a bilingual school category.
