The partnership school - family - community is an important current issue, raised by various educational policy documents at national and international level. In Romania, according to the National Law of Education no. 1/2011, parents are considered key partners and beneficiaries of the educational process. Article 80 provides that all major decisions in secondary education be taken in consultation with parents. The law entitles parents to actively participate in school management through CA's presence in school (Article 96). Parents are involved in the development of educational offers by participating in organizing school programs after school and in establishing CDS. In this national context, following a study conducted in schools in the county resulted that the priority need is to give a special attention to school relationship with family, relationship that fails to pass the threshold often formal meetings with parents. In SWOT analysis which formed the basis of ISJ Vaslui educational strategy, a weakness is the relationship of the school with family, poor family involvement in school life and children’s education. Another weakness is the lack of teachers training (especially those newcomers) for the work with adults, efficient management of groups of adults and conflict management.Therefore, the project has the following objectives:General objective: to improve teaching competencies in school-family relationship in order to promote an effective cooperation strategy and a real partnership between the two educational actors real in the benefit of children's education.Specific objectives:OS1.To develop the skills of working with parents for 36 teachers in 10 schools members of the consortium at all levels of education by dec.2017OS2.To improve the school-family relationship in 10 schools members in the consortium and in the Vaslui County the school network, due to the active involvement of 36 teachers trained through the project until dec.2017OS3.To promote a strategy of family involvement in school life, centered on the quality of students education, real opportunities in at least 10 members in the consortium, due to the active involvement of 36 teachers trained through the project until dec.2017.Mobility activities for training, namely the structured training course"Parents & Teachers: Building Bridges" will be held in the same location (Sevilla, Spain), will be delivered by the same training provider (iDevelop) for all 36 participants of the 10 member schools in the consortium that will move in four fluxes each 9 people during the 16-month duration of the project.Teachers participating in the training are full employees of the 10 schools in the consortium, including teachers for preschool, primary, secondary and high schools, both urban (7 schools) and rural (3 schools) zones, from all curriculum areas. The group will include both newcomer teachers and experienced teachers, aged between 25 and 60 years, both women and men (depending on the gender distribution). The level of knowledge of English is between A2 and C1.The objectives will be achieved by conducting the following activities:I.Preparation activities(organizational management, general training, cultural and linguistictraining of the participants)II.Mobility activities-4 fluxes each with 9 participants, to the course entitled "Teachers and Parents-Building Bridges", provided by iDevelop in Seville (Spain)-Flux 1-27.02-03.03.2017-Flux 2-03-07.04.2017-Flux 3-05-09.06.2017-Flux 4-24-28.07.2017III.Follow up activities-Dissemination activities and practical applications of knowledge acquired by the participants to the course-Monitoring of the follow-up activities of participants.-Validation and recognition of the training learning outcomes.Transforming the training hours in transferable credits.Management activities, monitoring, evaluation and dissemination and reporting are activities that will take place during the 16-month duration of the project.Learning outcomes will contribute to meeting the needs identified both in every school in the consortium (the application of new knowledge) and in the CSI (through dissemination activities): there will be teachers trained to manage relationships with family, management and conflict negotiation, that through practical activities in the next period will contribute to a more active involvement of parents in school life and children, to change mentalities in addressing family relationships, overcoming formalism and turning in a empathetic, real partnership, long-term relationship .
