School development on a European basis - Focus on i Pads This project is done to improve the quality of teaching, among other things by the use of new media, to react to the increasing number of pupils attending the language preparation classes and to train colleagues for the participation in European projects.It is our aim to have colleagues, who are trained for the use of iPads and in creating teaching material for iPads in different subjects. Due to this, five colleagues are taking part in courses.Two colleagues are going to attend a course, that has the aim to encourage teachers to incorporate cultural resources in their classroom practice, because we want to react to the more and more multicultural pupils at our school.We want to improve the change over of pupils from the language preparation classes to the regular classes, by sending two teachers to a course called "Intercultural Competences". We want to have more contact persons for teachers and pupils, who accompany the process.The participation of three colleagues at language courses conduce to the preparation of European projects, that way we have more colleagues, who can take part in KA1 courses or can work together with European educational partners in a KA2 project.For two years we have installed a Erasmus+ project team. The participants of courses and further colleagues are members of this team. The team is responsible for the organisational consultation of the participants, the implementation of the project aims and the evaluation. The project manager and the team of head teachers are responsible for the longterm aims. Our longterm goal is to improve our school permamently by exchanging with other European schools. We want to measure our school on European level.
