Schulentwicklung an der Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule- neue Impulse aus Skandinavien?
Date du début: 1 févr. 2016, Date de fin: 31 janv. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule has been offering its staff and its students the opportunity to look beyond one’s own realm through international internships or student exchange programmes for a long time.Teachers/Instructors often use their stay in a foreign country for further education, in particular in order to improve language skills. This development is to be promoted within the framework of the current ERASMUS+ application:The cooperation with the institution Omnia in Espoo/Finland makes it possible for fellow teachers to work on their foreign language skills and to get themselves informed about teaching methodology at the same time. Apart from that teachers shall be able to exchange ideas about teaching strategies and aims. In addition, the international approach of Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule shall further be strengthened.Initially two participants will be sent to Finland. If their activities prove successful, the cooperation will be extended to more instructors and students. In order to reach the goals, the coordinating teacher was chosen to be a participant of the project envisioned. She organizes and coordinates the international meetings of the school to twinning-institutions in France, the Czech Republic and even Finland. On account of the fact that communication with these institutions is done mostly in the English language, it is highly useful for her to further constantly develop her foreign language skills. The coordinator is a member of “Steuerungsgruppe” (a team of teachers who are highly engaged in the improvement of school) as well. This makes sure the acquired knowledge concerning school organization will be transferred to and applied by “Steuerungsgruppe” without losing aspects and important impetus for the “Schulentwicklungsprozess” (developement process of school). Observing lessons in a foreign country will have a positive impact on her teachings, because it is expected that she will be exposed to methodology not known to her or not applied by her.The internship will be used by the coordinator to mutually develop future steps of cooperation together with the colleague in Finland. In the second stage will get involved either the headmaster or a colleague who is responsible for school developement and quality management at Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule. He will gain insights referring to the "Schulentwicklungsprozess" and school organization.Observing lessons in Finland will have a positive impact on his teachings, because it is expected that he will be exposed to methodology not known to him or not applied by him.The project will contribute to increase the quality of the training at Klara-Oppenheimer-Schule immensely. The internships will stimulate learning motivation of the participants and enrich their knowledge. In addition, the basis for further cooperation of the schools involved will be built and “Schulentwicklung” (developement process of school) as well will benefit from new ideas.
