Schule und Sport: Wie machen es die anderen
Date du début: 1 juil. 2015, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project „School and Sports: How do the others do it“ should offer the possibility to discuss the problem area of education combined with professional sports with the partner school on location. Both the Ski-Akademie Schladming and the school on Helsinki provide offers for competitive sportsmen in addition to the regular schooling. Planned is an exchange of ideas on how the schools are thus organized, which problems could arise and which solutions are provided. Additionally there should be an exchange on the use of IT and learning platforms. Because the foreign languages play a big role and the absence of pupils during training courses and competitions need adjusted teaching and learning methods, the job-shadowing by Mag. Ulrike Mayer (teacher of English and history) is a good addition to the whole project. Mag. Wolfgang Ölzant, in his role as IT administrator, e-learning coordinator and school-quality manager at the Ski-Akademie Schladming, is greatly involved in the school development. Further, he has experience with EU-projects. After the appropriation on the project, dates for the visits (preferably October/November) will be set with the partner schools, contacts with the respective teachers established and the visitation programme will be discussed and created. The most important outcome should be the exchange of teaching and learning methods in the second language. In the long run, these methods could be used in lessons (if they are suitable). This should also happen in the third language. From the exchange of experience in school organisation, interesting aspects could be gained, which could contribute to further development when adjusted to the respective school. In the long run, there might be a more intensive cooperation (pupil’s exchange, training coordination).
