It is the aim of our school to offer all students the best opportunity possible to achieve equality in education. Diversity and barrier-free and equal access to education are in the centre of the school's profile. This two year project aims to strenghten the competences and the empowerment of educational and life opportunities. The school intends to enhance the common understanding of 'inclusion' and to strenghten the awareness of a shared task, especially as we will start a class next school year with six pupils with special needs. Overall we will send 15 teachers and two social workers. Nine members of staff will participate in three different courses i.e. "Business English", "ICT Skills" and "Communicative and Intercultural Competence" to further develop their knowledge and to develop educational material for the school. A total of six staff members und two social workers will take part in a "Job Shadowing" project at our partner school in Finland. At an interval of 12 months two groups will travel to Finland and will use their gained experiences to advice and support the school in developing a longterm educational concept of inclusion.
