Saame tuttavaks!
Date du début: 1 mars 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

During the youth exchange (the title: "Lets get to know each other!") in summer 2015 there are going to meet sixteen young people in the 13 to 17 age group and three leaders of groups. Participants are from Estonia, Germany, and Greece. Some participants from Greece and Germany have roots in Estonia. The project aims to discuss with young people about issues and human rights, which are related to cultural diversity, and to think about the issues of identity of those young people, whose parents have different cultural backgrounds, and what role these people play in changing the society to become more tolerant. The project will be completed on these topics in the documentary created by young people, which on the one hand develops young people's digital competence, and on the other hand encourages other young people to initiate youth exchanges and participate in these. In the previous stage of the youth exchange participants are taking photographs and preparing the video recording, which present their vision of cultural diversity. During the youth exchange the methods used are non-formal and involve young people, in some cases young participants themselves are in charge of leading the workshops. During the youth exchange different kind of workshops, tours, lectures and meetings with specialists will be held. Participants are introduced about the opportunities of youthpass. Youth Exchange will be the first international experience of the participating young people. Its long-term impact on young people is very positive. Young people have the courage to be more enterprising and to cultivate a number of key competences (communication in the mother tongue, communication in foreign languages, mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology, digital competence, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, cultural awareness and expression). Through the youth exchange also parents of participating young people will get knowledge about Estonia and their trust in Estonia will be developed. In the long term these young people, who have any connections with Estonia, strengthen them and will come back to their homeland. During the project special attention to the transparent management (meetings, continuous feedback, advanced planning visit with partners), and to the involvement of young people at each stage is paid, the project ensures the safety of young people in full (contact persons, participants' parents written permission and agreements, emergency numbers and other necessary contacts, etc.).
