The Averroes project includes 10 Maghreb universities: Tunis, Sfax, Sousse, Oran, Béjaia, Constantine, Tlemcen, Rabat, Tetouan and Marrakech and 10 EU universities: Montpellier (3), Marseille 2, Perpignan, Nice, Balearic Islands, Trento, Linköping and Liège. The project will be co-ordinated by the University of Montpellier 2 which has a long lasting experience of European projects management. The consortium will also include 46 associates which will be involved in the organisation of the mobilities, in the hosting and welcome of students or in the diffusion of information. The mobility activities will concern all levels and most of the fields mentioned in the call for proposals with a priority given top the fields which are of major interest for Maghreb universities. On the whole, 328 mobilities are foreseen with 283 concerning the South-North direction, and 45 the other direction.
