2InS aims at the design and validation through pilot actions of an integrated, transnationally conseptualized and coordinated framework for the creation of competent, viable collaborative platforms promoting and enhancing regional competitiveness and knowledge society, through the support of knowledge-based and internationalized entrepreneurship. 2InS further focuses on Creative Economy-related businesses, taken as potential drivers of sustainable regional socio-economic development in MED area Achievements: State of the art of project implementation since the project start2InS cumulative up-to-date progress is summarized as follows: The -diagnostic phase-activities, focused on a multidimensional identification and analysis of key-issues in SMEs' Innovation and Internationalization has been concluded. Furthermore, the development of the core product of the project, the -2InS Mechanism- and its components (design of the Territorial Internationalization and Innovation Support Clusters and of the Transnational 2InS-Net, development of supportive systems and methodological tools - -2InS Facilitator toolkit-) comprising an integrated framework for facilitating innovative and internationalised entrepreneurship is in a functional, ready-to-implement status. Moreover, there was satisfactory progress in activities related to the formation and establishment of the 2InS Clusters and the 2InS-Net (awareness raising, definition of potential members/stakeholders, etc.), as well as to the preparation of the pilot implementation process of the 2InS Mechanism.Latest project activities and outputsThe most important activities of the reporting period are summarized as follows: Communication: Regular operation of the Communication Office, Press Releases and Announcements in most target territories, printing of the brochure in Spanish and of other communication material, updating of the Website. Functional activities: In the 2InS -diagnostic- stage, pre-final versions of the 3 surveys comprising it. In the stage of designing and developing the core project's product, the -2InS Mechanism-: most of the Methodological Tools included in the process of designing the 2InS Clusters , the transnational -2InS Net-, and of the -2In Facilitator Toolkit- are in mature, ready-to-implement versions.
