Russia vs EU: the Post-Crimean European Security
Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Today, in the time of serious difficulties and challenges in EU-Russia relations after the Crimean crisis, it seems really important and significant to analyse in details the current situation and to propose the possible ways of resolving the crisis, and to turn back the EU-Russia relations into a constructive trend. It seems truly necessary to sustain stability in the whole system of European security for a long-term period. Also, taking into consideration the visible anti-EU campaign in the Russian public opinion in 2014-2015, it seems very useful to keep (or to restore) the EU-friendly approach from the target group of the European Studies Institute at MGIMO-University, which I represent, – the young Russian civil servants and activists of Russian NGOs.In such a framework one of the key tasks of EU’s educational policy in Russia could be preparation and implementation of new educational programmes and courses, representing the EU position and arguments in EU-Russia relations. Contributing to this aim, we would like to propose an application to realise the totally new lecture course on «Russia vs EU: The Post-Crimean European Security”. This course is expected to be realised at the EU Politics Department of the European Studies Institute at MGIMO University, and then to disseminate it to other departments and faculties of the MGIMO University.
