The project is a two EVS volunteer activities for 1 volunteer each. The host is Baltanás , and has a length of stay of 7 activities each volunteer. Activities are successive Dates beginning of each activity are in July 2013 and February 2014. The activities will be performed by two Italian volunteers provided through the Sending organization Uniser . The area of activity and social engagement of volunteers is in energizing and intergenerational social care locality ( elderly, children , youth and adults ) Baltanás is a rural town in the Castilla y León ( Spain ) region , of 1300 inhabitants. It is a town of peninsular affected by depopulation and aging and is head of region for social welfare services. Baltanás City Council is the coordinating and hosting , with local public entity representing the municipality. First Voluntary start in July 2014 , ending date February 2015 Second volunteer in February 2015 , September 2015 Volunteers are members of the organization UNISER Italy, acting as Sending Ongoing activities are collaborative in energizing and social care locallybut with regional influence. Alternating activities with elders in a hospice , with children in a Nursery and Extracurricular Activities, with young people through various collaborative goals and activities and adults through collaborative classes Adult School in the town. The results are the improvement of the population directly affects the service and the general population , and thanks to the volunteers change routine provides care activities and social revitalization , and certainly a better quality of service. It also has a social significance , as families of the municipality are reflected in Baltanás Europe and the possibilities that young people are alternatives to their personal development . For the volunteers it is an experience that will develop them personally through a temporary residence for previous experience they will mark personnel , labor, and satisfactorily.
