The main goal of the project is to connect the restored architectural heritage with the tourist offerings of these areas, joint marketing for the presentation of the joint offerings in the cross-border region. Within the project, a database of experts was created and a review of the state of country houses located in the Vas Hegyhat area was carried out. Other activities: a tourist festival with a thematic offering on both sides of the border, land purchase, reconstruction of three buildings, workshops, a study trip, a training program in tourism and a recording of the state of offerings in the region Achievements: Direct results: publication of Unused Treasures of the Rural Area I and II printed in 30,000 copies and in four languages (Hungarian, English, German, and Slovenian), radio shows, and creation of 10 information points. All of the above was carried out and is operational. Thanks to this multilingual publication, an increasing number of foreign visitors including a large number from Slovenia stay in tourist accommodation facilities in the southern parts of the County of Vas, while at the same time a number of tourists from the Hungarian side, making excursions to the partner regions in Slovenia, is also increasing.
