The main aim of the project is developing the skills of using the English language by the 16 teachers of Tischner's Secondary School No.2 in ?ory, who took part in a two-week mobility to Ireland and a language course and developing the competence and didactic skills and the application of modern methods of teaching English by the 2 English teachers, who took part in the two-week mobility to Ireland and in EFL Methodology course.The 16 teachers took part in the English language training course at B1 level and 2 other teachers took part in the EFL Methodology course. The participants were given language and cultural preparation for the training abroad. A language course and classes about culture, mentality and history of Ireland were provided. The school needs staff qualified in the field of using the English language due to the European projects already in progress: vocational practices abroad, school partnership project - Comenius, students exchanges, specialised professional teachers training courses abroad, e-twinning projects and school projects: the bilingual project - enrichment of the professional vocabulary, library lessons. The enrollment was administered by the recommitment committee in accordance with the Regulations. Taking part is the training is in full agreement with the needs of the participants due to the European measure. The partner in the project is infinity Buisness College Ltd which provided the tutorial accommodation, taking parts in cultural events in free time and transport in Ireland and also monitored the tutorial. The project was also monitored by the monitoring committee. The teachers taking part in the project saw to planning, travel arrangements insurance and the provision of teaching aids and necessary information material. The participants mastered linguistic skills- the English language and methodology of teaching English. The project has an influence on raising the school effectiveness. The project affects taking action with the aim of increasing the learning motivation of students and improving the effects of education. The School chose the partner because of its many years experience in the field of European programmes. European Mobility certificates were provided for the participants. They were also given certificates. Before the departure, during and after the training there was a series of informational meetings and an official Assembly during which the certificates were handed into the participants. The evaluation was conducted during and after the course. The current information about the project was published on the school's website in order to publicise the results of the project.
