The project "Development of key competences as a chance for a good start in the profession " was created to acquire and improve key skills and competences , which include such skills as communication , assertiveness , creativity , resistance to stress, leadership competences , the ability to cooperate with others, work independently and time management. The impact of these skills on the quality of the work team is huge. Only skills and theoretical knowledge - technical and purely specific to is not sufficient in the era of highly specialized technical staff in companies. Therefore, the so-called elements of emotional intelligence , which undoubtedly consist of the so-called soft skills and transversal skills are more important than substantive knowledge . Therefore, it seems important to emphasise on these particular competences of our students during the month-long internships in Portsmouth on the south coast of England. There will be monthly internships of our technical students - electrical technicians and logistics technicians - 10 - person per group in autumn - spring periods. A total of four groups of 40 students will go . Each group will be accompanied by a teacher from the school and our partner and host companies tutors and mentors. Our host partner - Training Vision will provide adequate training internships according to the profile of our students . There will be will be, among others, companies such as : Mr Pine & Sons, the British Heart Foundation -Electrical and Furniture , Direct Carpet Centre , InfonetMedia , SEEKIT , Spinnaker Waste , Sue Ryder and Homebase . The assessment of acquired skills will be determined by the document ECVET Skills Portfolio, according to which students will receive certificates of ECVET. In addition to these, trainees will receive a certificate of mobility internships issued by our partner , the Europass Mobility certificates and language course certificates, on which our students will attend during the first two weeks of stay. An important element of the project will be a cultural, educational and language program before starting an internship and a cultural program during your stay. There are planned excursions to places of tourist values, such as: London, Isle of Wight, Stonehenge , Winchester , Salisbury and others. Students will learn the unique character of the UK with its rich history and culture . The students will be staying with English families to help them grind the English language and get acquainted with the culture and customs of the English. At each stage a comprehensive evaluation will be conducted, and during the project and after its completion dissemination activities will be provided. After returning from the internships , students received appropriate assessment of the practice on the certificate.
