Rozwój kompetencji cyfrowych osób bezrobotnych po 50 roku życia
Date du début: 1 oct. 2016, Date de fin: 31 mai 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Development of digital skills of the unemployed aged over 50" is the partnership project whose main objective is the exchange of experiences on effective ways of breaking down barriers and raising the competence of the unemployed people aged 50+ and the creation of a training scheme which would help to overcome anxiety and facilitate the use of digital technologies in everyday life, and while looking for and applying for a job. Digital competence level of adults over 50 years of age is still insufficient in relation to the knowledge-based society and the requirements of the modern labour market. Digital skills deficit hinders or stops people from undertaking certain activities in daily life (e.g. formalities at offices, online shopping, e-banking), prevents them from using modern technology in the search for work and makes them unqualified for most jobs.Digitization is the opportunity for socio-economic development. Digital world is developing dynamically, covering more and more aspects of daily life and offering more and more opportunities to its users. Ability to use digital technology is no longer anything extraordinary, it became something completely natural. The benefits gained from the development of digital society should be available to all citizens. It is therefore important to introduce actions aimed at breaking mental and psychological barriers, as well as those arising from the lack of basic digital competences. In the course of the implementation of the project, the partners are going to examine the situation of the people aged 50+ on the labour market, their level of digital competence and their access to modern technologies. Project partners are going to identify existing programmes/projects in the partner countries in support of the development of digital competences (on the basis of the existing data) and investigate the causes of inactivity, or insufficient use of modern technologies by the representatives of the target group (identification of barriers). Additionally, they are going to carry out analysis of the impact of the digital exclusion in relation to the situation of the people aged 50+ on the labour market. The results of the tests will become a starting point for the development of a model for a successful digital competences training.Exchange of experiences, observation of "good practices", carrying out detailed analysis will all result in the creation of a pilot training model aimed at breaking down barriers and developing digital competences. The tool will be tested during the pilot training on the target group (persons 50+, unemployed), which will develop the final version of the training model. It will be a tool used by coach trainers in the adult education process (in particular the disadvantaged groups in a specific situation on the labour market, including the unemployed and the elderly), in a way which would include activities aimed at breaking down digital fears of adults with the deficit in terms of e-competence.The project involves 4 organizations dealing with adult education and counselling:Biuro Obsługi Inicjatyw Europejskich Sp. z o.o., Lodz, PolandAKLUB Centrum vzdělávání a poradenství, Krnov, The Czech RepublikNevelők Háza Egyesület, Pecs, HungaryThe Elephant: Learning in Diversity B.V, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
