The project entitled "The Development of the Teaching Staff in the Vocational School in Jastrzębie-Zdrój as a guarantee of the students' success” is the answer to the need for improving the quality of Complex of Vocational Schools in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The main objective of the project is the acquisition of specific competencies and skills by teachers which will result in improving the quality of work in the Complex of Vocational Schools in Jastrzębie-Zdrój. The project will be attended by 23 teachers who will participate in courses and classes of job shadowing. Before starting the course, all teachers undergo a language training (the group that will take part in a course in Germany will attend a German course and the second group that will participate in a course in Ireland or on Malta an English course) The participants will also take part in the preparation of cultural preparation in form of lectures and using e-twinning. For all the teachers taking part a variety of psychological and educational workshops will be carried out. In order to improve teachers’ professional competences 7 teachers including the managing staff, teachers responsible for promotion of the school, a team of mathematics and natural sciences teachers will take part in training on vocational education system in Germany. Under the course of job shadowing one teacher of mechanical school subjects will be a visitor at F + U Sachsen in Chemnitz where he will observe the process of training the mechanics, and in particular the implementation issues related to computer diagnostics car engines.Under this project 10 teachers will improve their language skills by intensiv language courses. These will take place In Ireland and on Malta. Thanks to participation in such courses the teachers will boost their language skills. In case of the narrow group of teachers it will help to rise the quality of managing and organisation within the EU Projects. At the wider group it will enhance the implementation of core curriculum with the CLIL method.The last group of the beneficiaries of the project will be the teachers who participate in the ICT technology course. This will help them to gain additional competences connected with the implementation of various methods based on IT technologies during the maths, polish, history, English lessons. In result it will influence the effectiveness of teaching and concequently it will increase the quality of teaching. The increase of the teaching quality will bring great distinction and prestige.The effective teaching methods will caus better educational effects of all our students. This, in turn will make our school more competetive on the open educational market.
