Rozvoj znalostí programování CNC a programování pro systém Android
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project “Developing Knowledge of CNC Programming and Programming for Android Systems” for the students of SPŠ, SOŠ a SOU Hradební (The Secondary Technical School and Secondary Vocational School Hradební) was created to enable our best students broaden their horizons at the two-week training at vocational schools in the Spanish region of Andalusia. Students in engineering programmes participated in training on CNC programming of Fanuc. This vocational training was held in December 2015. The other training in February 2016 was focused on application programming for Android and was designed for students in IT programme. Duration of both trainings was two weeks. While working on their own projects, the participants were given various subtasks such as to assembly an engineering product or design a specific application. The entire project was designed in compliance with ECVET. The programme of the internships was organized by our partner organization euroMind in cooperation with vocational schools in Sevilla. EuroMind’s wide network of partner vocational education institutes. and business entities renders it an ideal organizer of the internships for our students, putting emphasis on innovations and quality in the given area. Our partner also provided the accommodation and meals, and their staff were involved in the assessment of the students and the whole monitoring process. Total number of participants was 29 students and 2 teachers as accompanying supervisors. The main contribution to participants’ expertise was the acquisition of new knowledge and skills in operation of CNC machines, which are not a part of our school’s equipment. Programming for a specific mobile platform is also a valuable expertise, because the Android platform covers approximately 80% of the smartphone market and many companies seek specialized developers of those applications for mobile devices. All students completed the training successfully and received the Europass Mobility. Moreover, they reinforced their knowledge of English, which is vital for widening their opportunities on the labour market. In the long term, our school benefits from utilizing the the knowledge gained during both internships in our vocational teaching. Both accompanying supervisors ensured the transmission of new knowledge and experience. Project outcomes are also used to increase the interest in our study programmes by promoting it on our website, during open days, and meetings with parents.
