1.The Vocational Training Centre in Jastrz?bie-Zdrój is the promoter of this project and Zbigniew Pa?asz - a teacher of such professions as: electrical, electronic and mechatronic subjects, on behalf of the promoter, is the project coordinator. 2. In this project, there will be 20 students who are going to participate in it. Ten of them are technicians electricians and 10 are technicians of mechatronic. Each of them will be at the third class at the time of the project and will take apprenticeships in German companies associated with the selected direction of learning. 3. The host organization is Vitalis Betreuungsgesellschaft für Modellprojekte mbH situated in Schkeudit, Grmany. The person responsible on behalf of the organization is Ma?gorzata Wrona. 4. The apprenticeship will take place in Germany in Vocational Training Centres, as well as in companies cooperating with the host organization, with the program adequately provided for internship. 5. The main objectives of the project: 1. The project allows the comparison of two educational systems in such fields as technician electrician and technician mechatronic, as well as the comparison of two European countries cooperating in the project. In consequence, this partnership will help to standardize the curriculum, the system of assessment and determining the qualifications and the obtained skills. 2 From the point of view of the recipient the main goal of the project is : - taking part in the compulsory apprenticeship in the Vocational Training Centre in Leipzig and trade companies in Germany, such practices are provided in Polish curriculum and usually they are held in Poland. However, often Polish factories and companies are not able to ensure compliance with the practices prescribed in the curriculum of the subject. Additional objectives of the project : - the possibility of observing how German companies organize their work, - the comparison of educational systems in European countries, - the development of interests, - the possibility of gaining qualifications and skills confirmed by certificates, - improvement of language skills of the technical language in German and English, - improvement of language skills in the non-professional communication and of the everyday language, - the opportunity of getting to know German culture and customs of the region of Saxony, - the ability of working in a group, often international - raising one?s self-esteem 3. The promotion of the project is also a great opportunity to encourage students to choose technical fields of education, especially such as electronics and mechatronics, which are becoming less common orientations of choice for middle school students, and the market of the demand for the specialists in those fields is growing. 4. The results of the project are also a great promotion for the the Vocational Training Centre in Jastrz?bie-Zdrój by raising its prestige in the city and the region, which is crucial in the process of recruiting junior high school students. Relevant dates : 1.The duration of the project is planned for a period of 12 months from 01.01.2015 to 05.31.2015 . 2. The apprenticeships will be held on the following dates : a) 02/21/2015 - 03/21/2015 - 10 students - for electrical technician b ) 04/05/2015 ? 31/05/2015 - 10 students ? for mechatronics technician 3. There are going to be 3 meetings of the responsible people in the host organization as a part of the evaluation and monitoring: - the organizational visit - February 2015 with the objective to launch the project, detail the terms of cooperation, examine the possibility of the apprenticeship and preparation of the preliminary evaluation of the project. - the inspection visit- during the selected internship, with the objective of carrying out monitoring and evaluation to make proper conduct of the apprenticeship, checking the living conditions and compliance with the internship program. - the summarizing visit of the project ? evaluation of the project - September 2015.
