Rokiskis schools‘ strategies are focused on improvement of students‘ learning motivation, effective evaluation of student achievement and students‘ parents in education process. The District Council supports the schools strategic plans so there is a commitment to help schools implement their objectives. The administration of Rokiskis Municipality supports and promotes the professional development of teachers and schools‘ leaders encouraging schools to participate in various school improvement programs and projects. There is formed the second consortium for the project of Erasmus+KA1 by Rokiskis Municipality Administration (the first one was in 2015). All general education schools of Rokiskis are included in this consortium and schools‘ leaders will have the opportunity to develop and improve their qualifications in European countries. The educational research studies found that pupils' progress depends on the quality of training, and this is influenced by effective school leadership. This is what other European countries have legalized clearly distinguishing students' education, performance measurement, as the head of the main operational guidelines for the Lithuanian schools there are not the main school management activities. We believe that it is necessary to change the work epicentre of schools, the leader must not only manage the school as an organization, but also he/she has to participate in the education actively assuring the successful students‘ learning. Therefore, this project aim to make at least 23 Rokiskis general education school leaders (principals and deputies education) qualifications training with labour monitoring in Finland, Estonia and Denmark. In these countries our schools leaders will have the opportunity to attend training responding to their schools‘ strategic objectives. The aims of the traineeships are to present the Nordic education system of countries which demonstrate high students achievements, to enable school leaders to look into country specific school organization characteristics and select the best practices that can be applied to them under the direction of school activities and improve their skills such as cooperation, share lessons learned to communicate in English, targeted use of information technology. There is expected that improved their competencies managers will inspire change in education in order to properly implement the Rokiškis district educational strategic objectives. Three groups of seven or eight leaders of different types of Rokiskis district schools will take part in three internship in different topics. After returning from the internships the participants will cover three different experience programmes where will be presented the internships acquired experience in their application led various types of schools, as initiated changes affect the school's strategic objectives and the implementation of students' learning outcomes. The programmes will be filmed and placed on the websites of Education Centre of Rokiskis Municipality and local schools. The programmes could be downloaded free by everyone who is interested in. The information about these programmes will be publicized in the local press, on the Internet and a variety of events such as teacher conferences, seminars.
