Robert Bosch Automotive Steering GmbH - Praktika für Azubis in UK - Aufwertung der Ausbildung durch interkulturelle Kompetenz
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project "ZFLS internships for apprentices in the UK - enhancement of the apprenticeship by intercultural competence" is an offer for apprentices in the commerical and technical sector at ZF Lenksysteme. The requirement of this project is justified by the aim to preserve and stabilize the international competence of the company by the acquirement of international competence for prospective qualified employees. The dispatches within this project are planned with each 4 weeks in april/may 2016 and in april/may 2017 and will be undertaken in Torquay/England in cooperation with The Training Partnership Ltd. The execution of the project will again be supported by BBQ Berufliche Bildung gGmbH with the project "furtherance of the internationalisation of vocational education in Baden-Würrtemberg". The qualification of apprentices for the demands of the international labour market is the main intention of the project. It is important to increase the competences in a modern foreign language and to aquire new abilitites in the social and intercultural sector. By joining this project we want to give young people the opportunity to experience the (working) life in a different culture and to arrange with differences. The extension of the professional expertices and getting to know new working technologies is also a main objective. After a detailed preparation (organizational, linguistical and intercultural) the participants will start with their interships abroad. An important part of their stay in England is an one-week language course. By attending the course the apprentices should increase their English language skills. The following three weeks the apprentices will do an internship in a company to get to know new professional competences and to learn to use their existing knowledge in a foreign working environment. In England the apprentices will live in host families but they will have to take care of themselves. In this point we see the chance for an expansion of their self-dependance and their organizational competences. After the return of the apprentices in Germany there will be a following process to make sure that the new acquired competences and abilities will be preserved. We expect that the self-dependance and seld-conficence of our apprentices attending this project will increase significantly and that they will share their experiences and their enthusiasm with potential applicants and other apprentices.
