The partners want to use the success of the French-Belgian film «Rien a déclarer», that was shot in the cross-border area, as a leverage for the touristic and economic development of the area.Therefore, they convert the former customs house Macquenoise-Hirson foret into a visitor centre for the shooting locations tourist circuit to turn it into a new cross-border tourist destination.More generally, the initiative contributes to promoting the cross-border area at the local, regional, national and European level. At the same time, the partners also want the local businesses, tourist attractions, restaurantsand hotels to economically benefit from the initiative.
