8 teenagers from France (Ponts-de-Cé) between 15 and 17 years old want to build a skatepark in their town. They need to define their will better, their specific needs so they will be able to personalise their forthcoming construction. They had the idea to visit some european skateparks and meet other young people who had already gone through this process, not only to ride with them but also to learn from their past concrete experiences as builders. While searching through the net, they have discovered some belgian teenagers had the same dream years before and could achieve it! 10 teenagers from Belgium (Flémalle) have started building a concrete skatepark 4 years ago. The bowl has been on for those years but they need to go on with the second step by building the "Street" area around it. At the same time, a group of young people from another quarter of the city have built an alternative "Do it yourself" but quite successful "Street" area inside an abandoned building that will unfortunately be destroyed in a while. Those guys need a space to express themselves and carry on with their passion: they will join the team when the "Street" concrete area will be built. The french riders should meet the belgian ones at the middle of august 2014: - The belgian teenagers will take this opportunity to share cultural specificities from Liège/Flémalle with the french guys. - They will visit belgian spots together (even dutch and german skateparks according to decisions taken during the previous preparation visit) - They will start together the construction of the "Street" area of the Flémalle skatepark. The french teenagers should increase the experience needed for their own project and show their support in return. Finally, a short film will be shot by the young Ponts-de-Céais and also the young belgians riders during all the process. This short film will present the meeting and the journey of those european riders. The result will be broadcasted at the local cinema of Ponts-de-Ce during school holidays in October 2014.
