"Rich Identity by Seeing Extended "(RISE) was a Youth Exchange organized by Electronics Students League which took place in Bucharest between the 21st and 29th of June 2015. It gathered together a group of 36 young people coming from Poland, Turkey, Romania, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Portugal. The project started as the needs of young people for finding a job within a society recovering from the financial crisis were growing considerably. That is why our main goal was to increase the knowledge and improve the abilities to stand up and express ideas freely, to take initiative, coordinate a group and nevertheless encourage the participants to be creative and work on their entrepreneurial skills. We addressed to a group of young people aged 16-27. We succeeded in making them aware that the employers' requests are a fast and easy adjustment to the work environment. The group also had 4 young people coming from Poland, one from Georgia and one from Portugal who had limited access to education and therefore career opportunities. The main activities used non-formal education methods in order young people to attain their goals. They worked in workshops leading to a 15 minutes presentation about each soft skills presented above and writing a guide that would offer young people in search for a job the necessary information for a better approach in soft skills. All the results of the project are available on the website: www.rise.lse.org.ro. The timetable included cultural activities, presentations about nowadays European concepts and problems but also meetings with specialized trainers.
