Resilience, keep YOUth mind in tune
Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 31 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Why do people manage to cope with adverse circumstances, and even emerge stronger and others do not? Are we our own obstacles and how problems change into challenges and help us grow?We take a look at poverty, education and health, how things are connected, what has our thinking to do with it, we take our eyes from lack awareness on resources and uncover both our "inner stereotypes and saboteurs". From the perspective of salutogenesis "Health as a way", we will consider the individual columns of resilience after the "Klaviermodell" from G. Koller and make practical experiences with a customized mix of methods. In order to support our young people in everyday life more efficient, we take a look at optimism and acceptance for solving problems, change the role from a victim to self-responsibility, forming a network in the social society and thus make a healthy future. Our goal is to promote personal responsibility of young people with empowerment to discover their own resources and approaches, to be strengthened and find a place in the society and in the working world. We will evaluate daily and this makes it possible for us to clarify open questions and make corrections in the program run, if necessary.28 participants (and two Leaders) from seven countries, all involved in youth work, will develop a method mix during the process, equipped with practical action approaches for their work and acquire a know-how which strengthens the "life skills".The Participants gather in advance practical exercises from their everyday lives and describe their network of social institutions in their country. Along with the methods learned, a handout will be created together and summarized in youthful language. We spend a day in Linz and visit an institution of health prevention to have an expert interview.
