The project "Milestones through images" is a youth initiative, elaborated and launched by 10 young people belonging to 5 youth associations from 5 Romanian counties: ASAT (Timis), Cerc21 (Tulcea), Zapodia (Prahova), TETA (Teleorman) and Reper21 (Bucharest). The project aims to stimulate young amateur photographers from different regions of the country to get involved in the promotion of sustainable consumption habits and production processes that respect the environmental equilibrium, underline the value of the patrimony and favor social inclusion. Through this project, the 10 initiators will recruit 15 young participants from their regions in order to create teams of 5 people. Each team will realize a set of "intervention" photos that will be afterwards uploaded in a special section on the site www.reperverde.ro to be freely available and downloadable by the Romanian NGOs. The project has a participative approach. The 10 initiators will coordinate and consult the 15 young participants during the implementation of the project. The initiators and participants will debate on the discussion list the aspects linked to all the activities of the project. The project involves a significant amount of group work at regional levels. A final event will promote and disseminate the objectives, results, promoters and participants of the project.
