Renewable Future: Clean Energy for Happy Generations
Date du début: 1 oct. 2015, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project is based on the fact that conventional energy will last and that there must be a change in energy supply. The question of environment protection has got the same importance if not even a higher one. We see this with the global climate warming. All European states started rethinking about energy production. However all states choose different starting points of energy revolution. The acceptability of renewable energy must be promoted and the students must be sensibilised to watch the problems. The knowledge of the techniques and the chances of their use are the basis for understanding renewable energy. The interest of the students in the complex of problems is to be awaken by the use of suitable curricula. Therefor they can be educated to maturity. Here is the beginning of the project. The students of the five partner schools introduce themselves and their home region. The results of this introduction are published on a common platform. This will be the basis for a successful work for the following two years. In a next step the students will explore the energy supply in their own region. This includes the conventional energy supply as well as the alternative energy. The results of each partner will be put together and illustrated in a Power Point presentation. Besides the single power plants will be registered in Google Map and information will be added for each of the plants. Both presentations will be part of the lesson plans that will be developed. Models for the alternative energy will be made by students for illustration. The partner schools share the work. The results are put together and are given to each partner. Based on the models each partner school will do experiments with photo voltaic during the lessons. All the students get the same equipment of electronic parts. Chances and ranges of the technology are shown with the results of the experiments. All partial results are put together and the participating schools get them on CD. All partners evaluated the expert knowledge of the single lesson and teaching units with the topic renewable energy are set up. These teaching units will become part of the partner schools' curricula. An internet page will be set up to hand over the experience to a broad public. All interested persons can watch the lesson plans and teaching units on this page and they can use them for their own job
